Inflight food, drinks and duty free items on JAL IFE and 1 hour free wifi!

Business passengers on JAL can order inflight meals, drinks and duty free items using inflight entertainment system.

The service is now available on the Tokyo Narita – Heathrow route. Once established on the London route the plan is to roll out the facility on all Tokyo to Europe and Tokyo to North America services.

Business Class passengers are not only able to view the pictures of inflight meals and inflight products on the personal TV screen in the seat but also can freely order the Anytime You Wish service.

Cabin attendants provide the first meal service. After that, passengers may order meals, drinks and inflight products any time they wish until one and a half hours before landing.

Premium Economy and economy class passengers can also look at the duty free selection on their IFE screens, but the order service is not available.

One hour of free inflight wifi is available until 30 June 2013 for passengers in First, Business and Premium Economy.
