Sydney Airport launches mobile-friendly version of its airport website

Sydney Airport (SYD) has launched a mobile version of its airport website.

SYD mobile websiteSydney Airport (SYD) has launched a mobile-friendly version of its airport website to enable passengers to better access updated information on flights, shopping and parking on their phone.

Almost 500,000 customers use the SYD website each month to plan their journey and half of those access the site from their mobile devices.

The new mobile-friendly site complements SYD’s existing iPhone and Android apps, which have been downloaded by more than 80,000 people. The apps offer live flight information pushed straight to your phone, as well as comprehensive store listings and exclusive retail offers.

SYD has also launched a new Chinese language section on its desktop and mobile sites to cater for the growing number of Chinese passengers using the airport.

Sydney Airport now provides free Wi-Fi for all passengers at both the Domestic (T2) and International (T1) Terminals. Passengers can browse the internet for up to 2 hours and 500MB of data using any Wi-Fi enabled device to connect including laptop, smartphone or tablet.
