Srinagar International Airport launches free Wi-Fi service

Wi-Fi free for first 15 minutes

Srinagar International Airport has introduced free Wi-Fi for passengers, but only for 15 minutes.

The new service, from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), is free for the first fifteen minutes only and passengers also have to register.

To use the service passengers login after turning on WiFi services on their wireless devices.

The BSNL-TWiFi prompt will come and the passengers have to register and will be provided with OTP (One time password).

After verification passengers can access browsing with the BSNL Wi Fi Hot spot.

After the 15 minute free period, passengers can choose a payment plan if they wish to continue using the Wi-Fi and they will then be redirected to a payment gateway.

The 4G Wi-Fi service was inaugurated by Asgar Samoon, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, during a function at the airport. Speaking on the occasion, Samoon welcomed the initiative of the company and hoped that the new services will provide “succour to the passengers more importantly to the tourists who are visiting the picturesque valley”.
