Singapore Airlines offers free digital magazines on its mobile app

Material available before, during, and after the flight

Passengers on Singapore Airlines can now access a range of digital magazines through the airline’s mobile app.

Singapore Airlines passengers can now get free digital magazines on their devices.

Passengers can use the free reading material before, during, and after the flight.

The new feature is available on the Singapore Airlines app on both iOS and Android devices which can be downloaded from the Apple App store and Android Google Play.

As well as improving the passenger experience, the new service means that Singapore Airlines will carry less paper on board, possibly saving fuel and cleaning time.

The new system is a product from SITA, called SITA DigitalMedia. This is a self-service entertainment platform which can deliver any kind of content, from international and foreign language newspapers and magazines to blockbuster movies, directly to a passenger’s smart device. SITA partners with French company Adaptive to provide this technology.
