Virgin Holidays to open lounge on the beach

Beach lounge set to open in May 2018

Virgin Holidays is opening an airport lounge on the beach in Barbados.

It will feature a private air-conditioned lounge, bathroom and showering facilities, free food, soft drinks, tea and coffee restaurant and Virgin Atlantic bag drop.

The lounge will be on Brownes Beach in Carlisle Bay and is complimentary for passengers staying at Savannah Beach in Barbados, and Virgin Holidays cruise customers whose itinerary ends in Barbados.

Other passengers can pay to use the lounge at £20 per adult and £15 per child.

Transfers to and from Departure Beach are included. Passengers are picked up at their hotel after breakfast and their hold luggage is taken straight to the airport so they don’t have to worry about it.

Passengers get a locker to store hand luggage in, a beach towel and a small plastic bag to put wet beachwear in.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the Departure Beach, even down to the beach

Building will start shortly, with the opening scheduled for May 2018.
