Air France app now offers press, video and music

Air France Press evolves into Air France Play!

Air France is renaming its app and adding music.

The free smartphone and tablet app is available on the App Store and Google Play and gets a name change from Air France Press to Air France Play.

The new app offers a wide choice of newspapers and magazines, videos and music.

Content is available to passengers with a reservation on an Air France flight and is accessible from 30 hours before the flight’s departure.

Content includes:

  • Newspapers and magazines – a wide choice of French and international publications including Le Monde, The New York Times or China News Weekly
  • Videos – movies*, TV programmes*, cartoons*, news programmes and documentaries
  • Music – a selection of Air France Music playlists

Air France Magazine and music podcasts are available at any time, even without a reservation.

How it works

From 30 hours before departure, passengers log on with their Air France or Flying Blue account or reservation and compile their own personalized entertainment programme.

Before the flight, they download newspapers and magazines, videos and music podcasts on their smartphone or tablet.

The offer is available on flights lasting 2 hours or above between France and Europe, North Africa or Israel, and flights within the regional Caribbean network.

Air France Play is a separate app from the Air France app used to buy tickets, display boarding passes manage Flying Blue accounts and so on.
