Vietnam Airlines introduces self print boarding passes

Service available for domestic passengers at three airports.

Vietnam Airlines will introduce self print boarding passes on June 25, 2015.

Passengers of Vietnam Airlines can check in via its web/mobile/kiosk check-in systems and print their own boarding passes on paper or electronically.

The new service is available to passengers without checked baggage traveling on domestic flights departing from the international airports of Noi Bai (Hanoi), Da Nang and Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City).

Online check-in has been available on a limited basis for several years but passengers still had to go to airport check-in counters to collect their boarding passes. Online check-in is available from 24 to 2 hours before departure.

According to Vietnam Airlines website passengers still have to go to an airport check-in counter for the self print boarding pass to be checked.

Passengers with mobile boarding passes will have them changed to a traditional boarding pass.
