Jet Airways launches ‘Fare Lock’

There is a non-refundable fee

Jet Airways has introduced a booking feature, Fare Lock, allowing passengers to retain a selected fare for a limited period.

They can then buy the fare later. There is the non-refundable fee for locking in the fare.

Jet Airways is the first airline in India to launch this feature.

Fare Lock is applicable for flights across the Jet Airways’ network and offers passengers the opportunity to plan their travel with greater ease and convenience.

Once a passenger selects the Fare Lock option, they will need to pay a fee of INR 350 (5 USD) for a domestic ticket and INR 700 (10 USD)for an international ticket to lock the available fare.

Passengers can return to any of the Jet Airways online platforms within the next 72 hours to buy the tickets and confirm their booking at the pre-selected fare by using the Manage Booking feature.

How it works

  • To book your ticket visit our website site or mobile app and search for your preferred Jet Airways flight.
  • While booking your ticket opt for the Fare Lock option on the Guest details page.
  • You will be required to pay the Fare Lock charges and we will guarantee you the selected fare for the next 72 hours.
