Yoga fans can now practice at Frankfurt Airport in peace and comfort.
Fraport, the airport’s operator, has opened two professionally equipped yoga rooms in FRA’s passenger terminals.
All of the required equipment is available: yoga mats, blocks, cushions and pads, and a floor-to-ceiling mirror helps practitioners check their posture.
On monitor screens, videos explain exercises to music. There are also flyers with instructions on how to properly do exercises.
Subdued lighting and a wall-sized Buddha evoke an appropriate ambiance.
This new service is available to all passengers, including transferring passengers who have enough time between flights..
Passengers can find the yoga rooms in Terminal 1 past the security checkpoint near gates C14 and C16, and in Terminal 2 past the passport checkpoint near gates D1 to D4.
Open around the clock, the yoga rooms can be enjoyed free of charge.
Fraport’s “Great to have you here!” program
The yoga rooms are yet another element of Fraport’s “Great to have you here!” service quality program aimed at continuously enhancing the customer experience at Germany’s leading aviation hub.
Other examples are the Frankfurt Airport App 3.0 and free 24-hour Wi-Fi.
