SAS has completed the installation of Starlink on its entire fleet of 81 Airbus A320neo aircraft.
The first aircraft went live on 24 March, and the complete installation has taken just six months.
The installations were carried out alongside SAS’ normal flight operations, with each aircraft undergoing installation, testing and approval before returning to service.
The A320neo fleet represents around 70% of SAS’ total fleet and forms the backbone of SAS’ European network, operating a large share of flights across Scandinavia and Europe.
The A320neo rollout also makes it the first aircraft type in the SAS fleet to be fully equipped with Starlink.
SAS is now moving ahead with the next phase of its Starlink rollout, with installation preparations progressing for the remaining aircraft types and further installations planned before the end of the year.
Through SAS’ partnership with 3, EuroBonus members can access the service free of charge, whether they want to work, stream, stay in touch or browse the internet throughout their trip.
The completion of the A320neo rollout comes during SAS’ 80th anniversary year. For eight decades, SAS has connected Scandinavia with the world and the world with Scandinavia while continuing to look ahead.
