Japan Airlines (JAL) is offering free and unlimited Wi-Fi on select domestic flights.
JAL is upgrading the current 15 minutes free inflight Wi-Fi, to a completely free service on all domestic flights, which are operated by aircraft equipped with JAL’s inflight Wi-Fi system.
The new offer will be available from February 1 through August 31, 2017.
During flights, passengers will be able to use inflight free and unlimited Wi-Fi on select JAL domestic routes.
JAL’s 77 domestic aircraft have been equipped with Inflight Wi-Fi system. This service will not be available for international aircraft equipped with Wi-Fi , which are operated on domestic routes.
Inflight video programs such as sports, gourmet, music and animation etc. are also provided on Wi-Fi equipped aircraft on domestic routes. Passengers can enjoy the free programs by using their own Wi-Fi devices.
The internet service will be available from 5 minutes after take-off until 5 minutes before landing.
