British Airways operated a flight with a crew all called Megan or Harry to celebrate the Royal Wedding.
In case anyone didn’t notice, there was a magnificent event just outside London today.
Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in a wonderful example of all that shows the United Kingdom at its best.
British Airways marked the day in style by flying an aircraft from Heathrow to Toronto staffed by Harrys and Megans. Toronto is where the couple got friendly.
The 10-strong cabin crew was made up of two Harry’s, seven Megan’s and one Meghan.
Extra champagne was loaded on to the Toronto flight and the ‘Royal Crew’ gave every passenger on board a bottle of Castelnau Blanc du Blanc to enjoy alongside their individual celebratory wedding cake.
Megan Horsley, British Airways Customer Service Manager, leading the namesake crew:
“Harry and Meghan’s relonship started across the Atlantic so it seemed fitting for all of us to take-off to Toronto on their special day. I’ve flown with another Megan once or twice before, but never seven so we might have to all call each other by our surnames during this very special flight!”
Passengers leaving from Heathrow were offered a lemon and elderflower Victoria sponge – the same flavour as the royal wedding cake.
