Severstal Aircompany has received its first SSJ100 from Sukhoi
The aircraft with the tail number RA-89117 performed a ferry flight from the Sukhoi Delivery Center in Zhukovsky to Cherepovets airport, the home airport of the airline.
The aircraft is the first of four SSJ100 aircraft that Severstal expects to receive in 2019.
The first SSJ100 is scheduled to start operations in early 2019.
Severstal Aircompany is based in Cherepovets and currently operates a fleet of six CRJ-200 aircraft.
The airline carries out flights across Russia, CIS countries and Europe and carries about 300,000 passengers a year.
Cherepovets airport is located 25 kilometers away from Cherepovets which is a major industrial center of the Vologda region and the entire North-West of Russia.
