Finnair new digital service to attract passengers to Finland and Nordics

Offesr hand-picked experiences in Nordics

Finnair has started a new online service to attract international passengers to Finland and the Nordics.

Called Now/here, the service combines inspirational content with real-time inventory and availability for experiences, hotels and flights from a large number of sources.

Now/here will offer hand-picked experiences in the Nordics. At the moment it only includes two areas of Finland: Lapland in the north of Finland and Helsinki and the capital area in the south.

Soon the selection will be expanding to other areas in Finland such as the archipelago and Lakeland and to the other Nordic countries as well.

Now/here addresses the growing strong interest towards the Nordics as a destination.  The concept was tested in Singapore, Hong Kong, UK, US and Australia.

The Finnair Now/here team met with approximately 1,500 travel partners and hand-picked products like Reindeer Safari, Arctic Mindfulness with Huskies, Aurora Borealis Adventure, Forest Yoga & Hike and Private Island Experience to the pilot of the service.

Kristiina Kukkohovi, who heads the Now/here program at Finnair:

With this new service, international leisure travelers can find curated travel experiences in dynamic packages, with an effortless and fully digitalized booking flow.

“Now/here brings travel service providers to our digital platform, which is an important step in building a travel related ecosystem that offers win-win opportunities for all parties involved. For the future growth plans, we are also looking for new partners joining us to scale the business.”

“Now/here is a solution for digital savvy individuals who long for authentic experiences. The experiences included are authentic, sustainable and of high quality.”
