Vietjet receives its first wide body A330

Vietjet has received its first wide body aircraft, an Airbus A330, at its Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat Airport base.

The aircraft, delivered on the 10th birthday of starting operations, is the first of three A330s ordered by Vietjet.

The A330 has 377 seats in a two class layout comprising:

  • 12 Business
  • 365 Economy

Vietjet plans to use the A330 initially on routes from Vietnam to Moscow.

Vietjet currently operates an all Airbus fleet of 78 aircraft in various versions of the A320 and A321.

  • A320 has 180 seats
  • A321neo has 230 seats
  • A321 neo ACF has 240 seats

The airline has another 119 A321neos on order.
