SWISS Airbus A350 makes first revenue longhaul flight

SWISS’s first Airbus A350 made its first longhaul revenue flight on 20 November.

HB-IFA flew from Zurich to Boston and was the first flight with the completely new cabin and enhanced inflight service of the new ‘SWISS Senses’ long-haul air travel concept in all classes.

SWISS Senses offers a blend of design, comfort and Swiss hospitality in all classes of travel, from a welcome drink with Sbrinz cheese to refined meal choices, the Alpine Essence signature cocktail, new Business Class bedlinen, top-quality care items and state-of-the-art inflight entertainment.

And with the new Zurich-Boston Airbus A350 operation, passengers can experience for the first time both the new SWISS Senses cabin and the accompanying enhanced long-haul inflight service.

Montreal will be the SWISS A350’s second long-haul destination.
