Qantas’ ‘3-Click’ Auto Check-in is now available on all Australian domestic flights.
All passengers can simply open an email link or text message from Qantas, confirm that they’re not carrying dangerous goods and finally receiving a boarding pass barcode on their phone in just three clicks.
If a passenger has not checked in via Qantas.com or the Qantas app, Auto Check-in will send an SMS inviting them to access their boarding pass.
With three simple clicks, check-in will be confirmed and the passenger will have their boarding pass on their mobile device.
Passengers can view and change their seat by clicking on the seat number on the boarding pass which will take them to a seat map screen where they can select from any available alternate seat.
At the airport passengers can use the digital boarding pass on their mobile device, in the same way they use a paper boarding pass.
They simply open the boarding pass on the mobile device, scan the boarding pass at a kiosk to print a bag tag, take the bag to a bag drop and then show the mobile boarding pass at the gate to board the flight.
