Malaysia Airlines gives free Hygiene Kit to all passengers

Kits have face mask, hand sanitiser, sanitary wipes

Malaysia Airlines is giving all passengers a free Hygiene Kit.

The hygiene kits include a non-surgical face mask, a sachet of hand sanitiser and a sachet of sanitary wipes. The kit is in a small sealed zip-lock pouch so passengers can comfortably keep it in their pockets.

The kits are the latest step in Malaysia Airlines Fly Confidently campaign.

Earlier this month the Malaysia Aviation Group (Malaysia Airlines, Firefly and MASwings) unveiled the ‘Fly Confidently’ campaign to raise awareness of the health and safety measures taken by the Group.

The campaign provides passengers with a new set of clear and concise infographic guidelines and resources on each respective airline’s official website and social media platforms.

As part of the campaign, Malaysia Airlines released a video entitled Fly Confidently, Fly Malaysia on its social media platforms showcasing its passengers on their journey for departure or arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

It begins from home, where passengers perform contactless check-in through the airline’s mobile app or website, followed by a walkthrough of the enhanced safety and health measures at Malaysia Airlines’ main hub in KLIA.

The video also features heightened safety and public health measures by Malaysia Airlines in collaboration with Malaysia Airports Berhad (MAHB), Immigration, and Customs departments at several customer touchpoints. These include check-in counters, Immigration and Customs areas, Golden Lounges, boarding gate, in-flight, and baggage collection areas.
