Pakistan low cost carrier Airblue has received its first of two Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Airblue is leasing the aircraft from GECAS and is the first A321neo to enter service in Pakistan.
It is configured in a 1-class layout with 235 seats.
Airblue is an all Airbus airline. The new A321neo joins the existing fleet of 4 Airbus A320-200 and 5 Airbus A321-200.
At the moment, Airblue operates domestic flights to Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Peshawar. International flights are to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah in the UAE and to Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
The fuel efficient aircraft will help Airblue expand its network. It offers exceptional technical, economic, and environmental performance by incorporating the latest engines, aerodynamic advances, and cabin innovations.
