AMS Schiphol ABC eGates process first million passengers

More than a million passengers have crossed the border at Schiphol airport using the Vision-Box ABC eGates.

More than 1,000,000 passengers have crossed the border at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol airport using the ABC eGates.

The ABC eGates were installed by a consortium, which also included Accenture and Vision-Box.

Vision-Box supplied the ABC eGates that today total 36 units, located in the Departure 3, Arrival 3 and transit area between Schengen and non-Schengen.

Vision-Box was also responsible for the gates transaction manager platform which controls how they operate, define the associated business rules and border checks processes.

The main benefits delivered by ABC eGates include:
