Passengers now have even more convenience in enrolling in TSA PreCheck as CLEAR has opened seven new locations.
TSA PreCheck allows passengers to leave their shoes, belts, and light jackets on and leave their laptops and liquids in their bags while going through airport security
The seven new locations are:
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)
- John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH)
- Kansas City International Airport (MCI)
- Palm Beach International Airport (PBI)
- Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE)
- Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
- Tulsa International Airport (TUL)
The launch of enrollment at these seven airports represent the ongoing expansion of CLEAR’s national TSA PreCheck enrollment footprint. CLEAR now has 40 TSA PreCheck enrollment locations open across the U.S.
A list of CLEAR enrollment locations for TSA PreCheck is on the CLEAR, TSA PreCheck website: https://tsaprecheckbyclear.tsa.dhs.gov/locations.

What is TSA PreCheck?
TSA PreCheck is an expedited screening program that enables low-risk passengers to move through security more quickly and easily when departing from more than 200 participating airports in the U.S and territory airports.
Eligible passengers do not need to remove shoes, belts, light jackets, laptops, or 3-1-1 liquids.
About 99% of TSA PreCheck passengers wait less than 10 minutes in dedicated lanes at airport checkpoints nationwide.
Where is TSA PreCheck available?
TSA PreCheck is available at more than 200 U.S. state and territory airports, and one foreign Preclearance airport at the Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, Bahamas.
Enrollment
To enrol, passenger visit tsa.gov/precheck and choose one of the enrollment providers, CLEAR, IDEMIA, or Telos.
They submit an online application and then have in-person appointment at one of hundreds of enrollment centers across the country. At the 10-minute appointment, passengers have their biometrics captured (face and fingerprints), have a quick background check and then pay for a five-year membership.
When passengers enrol in the program they get a Known Traveler Number (KTN).
Passengers add their Known Traveler Number to their flight booking and receive a TSA PreCheck indicator (such as TSA PRECHK or TSA Pre✓®) on their boarding pass. That confirms they are eligible to use the dedicated PreCheck security lines.
Most new enrollees receive a KTN within three to five days.
What does it cost?
Each of the providers charges a slightly different amount.
- CLEAR charges $77.95
- IDEMIA charges $78
- Telos charges $85
