Qatar Airways (QR) has launched a mobile application for Blackberry, Android and iPhone devices, allowing customers to search and book flights, check flight status and visit the online check-in facility.
The new apps are targeting today’s busy executives and business passengers, as well as leisure passengers who wish to access the latest travel information regarding the airline.
The airline chief executive officer, Akbar Al Baker, said, ‘We are continually looking for ways to bring new and exciting services to our customers. Mobility is high on the list of our customers to have access to important travel and flight information when and where they want it, so we have now given them a new service that meets that demand. As our customers’ needs evolve, so will the services and products that we offer.’
Qatar Airways is one of the fastest growing airlines, operating a current fleet of 119 aircraft to 124 business and leisure destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and The Americas.
