Turkish Airlines adds Denon headphones in Business Class

Available on long haul routes

Turkish Airlines has updated its in-flight entertainment offering to include noise-cancelling headphones from audio manufacturer Denon.

Business class passengers on the carrier’s American routes will be able to use the headphones, while passengers in other classes can buy them on the airline’s online marketplace, Shop and Miles.

According to Denon, the headphones minimize 99% of ambient noise.

The airline has also introduced Samsung Galaxy S2 tablets for business class passengers who do not have seatback IFE screens. On flights lasting more than 2 ½ hours, crew will offer the use of a tablet for watching movies or playing games.

Last month Turkish updated its mobile app with a number of new functions.

Through the app, passengers can now add flights, cancel reservations, reissue tickets, add infant passengers and upgrade to business class.

It will also offer maps of major airport terminals around the world and driving directions to these airports.
