Passengers leaving Saudi Arabia will be able to check bags from home

Passengers flying out of any Saudi airport will soon be able to ship their bags from their home to any destination.

The new “Passengers with No Bags” service will allow passengers to ship baggage in advance from home to any destination, completing travel-related procedures before the flight date.

It will be available to passengers at all 27 Saudi airports to all domestic and international destinations.

The aim is to ease travel procedures and enhance the passenger experience by cutting the time passengers spend at airports on baggage-related things.

To use the service, passengers must:

  • have a confirmed ticket or booking with one of the participating airlines
  • possess all required travel documents
  • ensure that their baggage does not contain any prohibited items

The service will be open for both individuals and groups at airports in the Kingdom.

The service is launching in the first quarter of 2024.
