Lufthansa is getting in the mood for New York Fashion Week by having a live fashion show onboard a flight from Frankfurt to New York on 08 February, 2017.
Passengers will enjoy a preview of the women’s collection by New York fashion designer Rubin Singer.
The flight will feature a specially painted 747-8, the aisle will be the catwalk and the crew will be the models.
In a further fashion show the Lufthansa crew will model the look of the past 60 years. And in tune with this retrospective, the jumbo jet has had a 70s-style facelift.
The flight will also feature lots of fashion-themed entertainment on board.
There will be a specially installed in-flight conferencing system to help give passengers the feeling that they are in the front row. They will receive live commentary from fashion experts and can also see the show on their phones and tablets.
