KLM has entered into a partnership with GetYourGuide to offer tours and activities on KLM’s social media platforms.
KLM passengers can now book over 30,000 tours and activities at more than 2,500 destinations around the globe through KLM’s social media platforms including KLM using Messenger, KLM.com, the KLM app, or the portal on board KLM flights.
Reservations can be made as soon as passengers have booked a flight or checked in, during their flight, or at any other moment that suits them. Most GetYourGuide tours and activities can be booked at less than 24 hours’ notice and offer paperless tickets.
A simple QR code scan provides admission. GetYourGuide keeps mobile users on schedule with push notifications for their upcoming tours and activities.
The new service will become available through various KLM channels over the coming days and weeks.
Pieter Groeneveld, Senior Vice President Digital Air France – KLM:
By offering GetYourGuide tours and activities alongside other supplementary products, such as cars and hotels, we make it possible for our customers to arrange their entire journey through the KLM platform of their choice. Customers can do this weeks ahead of a trip, or even during the flight. We have found the right partner in GetYourGuide, as they offer the most complete range of tours and activities. There’s something to suit everyone in a digitally savvy way that matches KLM’s own innovative touchpoints.
Tao Tao, COO van GetYourGuide:
In making our global inventory of tours and attractions accessible to travellers around the world, we look for partners with a finger on the customer’s pulse and an eye on the future. KLM is an undisputed leader in the airline industry in its commitment to digital innovation and we are excited to transform our customers’ trips into amazing experiences together.
